Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) and vitamin C are critically important for adrenocortical steroid synthesis. Bioflavonoids are antioxidants with an ascorbic acid-conserving effect that extends the life of adrenal medullary hormones such as epinephrine in the blood.
