Astragalus root, or Huang-Qi (Astragalus membranaceus Bunge), contains many compounds, including isoflavones, triterpenoid saponins, astragalosides I to VII, astra-membrannins, soyasapogenols, polysaccharides, choline, betaine, and kuma-takenin. This extract is standardized to at 0.4% 4′ hydroxy-3′-methoxyisoflavone-7.
