In collaboration with TriNutraTM , LLC, we at Integrative Psychiatry, Inc. are excited to announce the launch of CognibenTM, a novel multi-modal supplement designed to provide:
The synergistic blend and ratio of ingredients contained in Cogniben™ - PEA (phenylethylamine), Ginkgo biloba, and caffeine - are key to its demonstrated efficacy. For example, when combined with PEA, Ginkgo biloba may significantly increase PEA’s bioavailability and clinical effectiveness.
A plant with documented cognitive benefits that improve blood flow to the brain and thereby supports optimal cognitive function, concentration, and attention.
An amino acid proven to modulate core neurotransmitters: dopamine, serotonin, acetylcholine, and norepinephrine. Optimizes mental energy/stamina, sustained concentration and attention, and reward circuitry.
Cogniben contains roughly the same amount of caffeine as ½ cup of coffee. Caffeine action at adenosine receptors may enhance brain activity, alertness, and wakefulness.
The synergistic patented combination of the ingredients discussed above make Cogniben truly distinct. Two additional features of this unique nutraceutical are that it works quickly and that it has data in human subjects.
For example, a recent single-blinded outpatient study tested the effectiveness of Cogniben™ in 10 adults (18 to 55 years) suffering from symptoms of cognitive impairment. Subjects were dosed from one-half tablet of Cogniben™ daily, up to the maximal allowed dose of two tablets per day by the end of the 2nd week. This dose was maintained for an additional 5 weeks. Subjects' symptoms, well-being, and improvements were assessed via questionnaires at baseline and subsequent visits.
A 60-person follow-up study is in progress.
Obviously, no one supplement or nutraceutical will work for everyone. Due to its unique design and patented synergistic blend, however, Cogniben can help many persons because of its broad spectrum support of those neural circuits, nodes, and networks associated with cognition. Moreover, by modulating key neurotransmitter networks shown by significant clinical research to be associated with cogitive functioning - dopamine, serotonin, acetylcholine, and norepinephrine - Cogniben, when it works, works quickly.*
This is a key clinical feature for my patients and clients. Seldom do the medications or supplements I recommend work so fast. With Cogniben, I'm able to give people several days of samples to ascertain whether or not they will respond to treatment before having to invest in a month's supply.
