Our name was Ultra Amino, and we were ahead of the curve in providing physicians with amino acids free of excipients. Our initial success led us to expand our product line to include more conventional nutritional supplements, and we changed our name to Metabolic Maintenance Products, Inc. in August of 1984. Our name changed, but our focus was still amino acids.
