TMG (TriMethylglycine) 100 capsules 750 mg by Allergy Research. TMG is the supreme methylating agent and assists homocysteine in being metabolized into methionine, resulting in the production of DMG (dimethylglycine).

TMG (TriMethylglycine) 100 capsules 750 mg Trimethylglycine is betaine, not to be confused with betaine hydrochloride, which is used to support digestion in the stomach.
Further metabolism of TMG produces the enzyme methyltetrahydrofolate reductase (the active form of folic acid). Studies have shown cerebrospinal fluid levels of S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) to be low in patients with methyltetrahydrofolate reductase enzyme deficiency resulting in demyelination in the brain and degeneration of the spinal cord. TMG has been shown to restore levels of SAMe in the cerebrospinal fluid.
