Not all vitamin supplement or herbal products are the same. Many reports and studies have shown that the majority of natural supplements do not contain the strength of the nutrients listed on the label; some supplement products tested didn't show any levels of the active ingredient at all. Besides the obvious waste of consumer dollars people are not getting the relief or improvement from the condition they were taking the supplements for. A lot of the products sold over the internet or in health food stores are food grade. A good example of the difference between the two supplements would be fish oil that has not been molecularly distilled or received an assay certifying it is free of mercury, PCP's and other contaminants. By taking a product like this you would be potentially poisoning yourself with high levels of heavy metals and pesticides.
