The "Net Carbs" are calculated by subtracting the dietary fiber (6g), and other low glycemic carbohydrates including sugar alcohols from maltitol syrup (4g), xylitol (0.7g), erythritol (2g), and glycerine (4g) from the total carbohydrates (20g). Individuals who monitor their carbohydrate intake may deduct these low glycemic carbohydrates from the "Total Carb" count (in the Nutrition Facts box) due to their minimal impact on blood sugar levels.
