Description:
Nuvoxil is specially formulated to increase serotonin levels, enhance GABAA receptor function, and block glutamate receptors. Nuvoxil supports serotonin using tryptophan. Tryptophan offers milder support of serotonin with lower peak serotonin levels and a more gradual dose-response curve than 5-HTP products. Patients who cannot tolerate 5-HTP products may have better outcomes with Nuvoxil.

Nuvoxil is recommended for individuals*:
• With anxiousness or low mood
• Who experience nausea, headaches, or over-stimulation with the
use of 5-HTP products
• Who require daytime serotonin support and find 5-HTP products
too sedating
• With low serotonin levels who may also benefit from some GABA
support and/or glutamate modulation.
Key Ingredients:
- L-theanine to calm the patient by acting as a glutamate receptor antagonist
- Tryptophan, which is a precursor to serotonin
- Taurine, which also calms the patient by binding to the GABAA receptor
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCL & pyridoxal 5'-phosphate), which is a necessary co-factor for serotonin and GABA production
- Vitamin B12 (as cyanocobalamin) to support the nervous system and is a co-factor in serotonin production.
Dosage
Nuvoxil 1-3 capsules one to two times daily on an empty stomach. Take
with water or juice; do not take with milk or food.
Contains L Tryptophan, Theanine, and Taurine.
