Product Ingredients,CysNAC contains N-acetylcysteine, a stable form of cysteine. Cysteine plays an important role in the NeuroScience neurotransmitter optimizing programs. Cysteine is a component of tyrosine hydroxylase, the enzyme responsible for the rate-limiting step in the conversion of tyrosine to the catecholamines. Adequate cysteine supports tyrosine hydroxylase levels. Cysteine also supports the production glutathione which inhibits the neurotransmitter oxidation and the death of neurons can occur with therapies that contain 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-dopa).
